Sorry but there is confusion here ? the Mod v 1.5 when un zipped is labled " bin "
are these files copied into the main game folder or the games bin folder

surely this should read "overwrite the games bin folder with the downloaded one"
and before that backup the original bin folder

i would copy/paste orig /bin folder - let it rename itself as bin-copy or whatever you choose
then paste modded bin folder into the same location, allowing the overwrite
same as any file or folder mod - always keep backup to be able to revert

original /bin folder can be grabbed from dvd if you need to

I would also recommend keeping a backup just in case.:)

"(iv) I want to max out settings for gallery to get better gallery render."

you might want to be cautious with this, if the mod adjusts the gallery setting as often cls folders are not customized for each course for gallery location and density, but simply copied from one course to the next

result = gallery showing in ackward places - in front of tee box etc

lower gallery setting also allows ball flight to pass through, higher setting makes it/them more solid, ball bounces back

if you mean visual rendering or quality - have at it :)

also: do the various graphics slider controls continue to effect the quality of graphics after the mod is in place?

as stated earlier - many members/players still use older PCs/laptops and may have their various settings turned to low settings or off

and some custom courses/libraries require more cpu/graphics power than the stock EA courses
So perhaps using a non stock course would be better testing (not sure if you are or not at this point)

thanks

it's ok..i mean enahncing visual rendering to max :)

i can't tell about addon courses but using them would most probably require better graphic cards..but the mod should produce better results on these courses :)
